The more Kadin squirmed, the more Balthazar tightened the knobs. At least he'd understood to stay quiet and wasn't trying to fight back. It seemed he wasn't so dense after all.

Only when the two plates were nearly parallel did he stop twisting. The clear plate on top was a nice showcase of just how much they'd been crushed, spreading them out in such a nice, clean layer.

"Now you're starting to understand..." he said, catching that little invasive thought of Kadin's. He tapped on the plastic with his fingernails. "You only deserve release if your balls are in the most agonizing pain. But we're going to have to really burn that into your head, aren't we?"
